International dental trainer and lecturer
Dr. Stéphane Diaz is a French dental surgeon, international trainer and lecturer with over forty years of clinical and teaching experience. He graduated in dental surgery from Nantes University and holds a University Degree in Endodontics from the same institution. His career comprises 25 years of general practice and 15 years of practice limited to endodontics and implantology. He has served as Assistant Professor at Nantes University.
Dr. Diaz is the creator of the ZerØ Pain Dentistry concept, a structured educational framework built on a single premise: there is no quality dentistry without full pain control. It carries three commitments: treating as a priority the pain the patient arrives with, holding zero pain as the objective during treatment and preventing physical and psychological distress for the patient and for the dental team alike, and executing procedures with the precision that minimises post-operative pain. He is the founder and director of SD4DS (SD for Dental Skills), a customised dental training and mentoring institute, and was co-founder and director of Endo Atlantique, an endodontic continuing education institute. He is a lecturer and trainer for the Dentalhitec Academy.
Dr. Diaz has trained some 5,000 dentists over twenty-five years of teaching. He has lectured in more than twenty university programmes across seven countries, and has taught, lectured or run workshops in more than twenty countries on four continents. He speaks regularly at international congresses in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, and has published on the planning of anaesthesia and on intraosseous technique in endodontics in the professional dental press.
He works in French, English and Spanish.
