Dr Igor Ristić was born in Novi Sad, Serbia, in 1972. He graduated in Serbia in 1996, focusing on the latest developments in aesthetic dentistry and implantology. By 1999 he had completed his specialisation in dental prosthodontics, with particular emphasis on all-ceramic adhesive restorations.
In 2001, Dr Ristić founded the Center for Dental Esthetic and Implantology (CDEI) in Belgrade, Serbia, a private clinic renowned for transforming smiles and enhancing patients' quality of life.
Dr Ristić is passionate about education and regularly shares his expertise through global lectures, hands-on training and workshops. His focus includes minimally invasive indirect restorative procedures, implantology and digital dentistry workflows. He collaborates closely with leading global dental companies to advance these fields.
Since 2010 he has regularly published professional articles in printed and online dental media, including Dental Tribune and Cosmetic Dentistry. In 2013 he established the National Institute for Practical Dental Education in Belgrade as a hub for postgraduate dental education. Its courses cover restorative dentistry, adhesion, implantology and current digital workflow procedures, and are regularly attended by dentists from across the region.
Throughout his career, Dr Ristić has received numerous accolades, including a Fellowship from the International Academy of Dental Facial Aesthetics in New York. He founded the Serbian Society for Esthetic Dentistry in 2017 and currently serves as its past president. In 2019 he presented a table clinic at the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry. He is also past president, board member and chairman of education for the European Society for Esthetic Dentistry.
